Robert Nechin has amassed extensive experience in the design and construction of stained glass windows for synagogues and other religious institutions. His works can be found in religious buildings in Israel, the United States and Europe. Among his works are a series of stained glass windows installed in a synagogue in Biel-Bienne, Switzerland, that has been named as a Swiss national monument.

On commissions such as these the artist must work with an additional measure of sensitivity and respect appropriate to such a place. Within this framework he is called upon to create an interesting and original design - hopefully unexpected and thought-provoking. This is an interesting challenge that Robert Nechin accepts with enthusiasm.

1989 - B'nai Israel Synagogue, Youngstown, Ohio, USA -- metal and stained glass doors for Holy Ark.

1992- Michael Winner Synagogue, Yemin Orde, Israel -- 12 stained glass windows.

1994 - Ma'alot HaGiborim Synagogue, Kiryat Ata, Israel --stained glass window.

1999 - Israelitische Gemeinde Synagogue, Biel-Bienne, Switzerland -- stained glass windows for renovated synagogue The synagogue has since been proclaimed a Swiss national monument .

2002 - Ya'akov Avinu Synagogue, Nahariya, Israel -- approximately 15 stained glass windows (40 square yards) throughout the synagogue.

2003 - Tunisian Synagogue, Zefat, Israel -- stained glass ceiling in synagogue.

2004 - Baha'i Temple, Haifa, Israel - complete restoration of over 100 windows for the Baha'i sanctuary
2008 - Merom Naveh Synagogue, Ramat Gan, Israel -- 12 stained glass windows.
